This update provides support for Coolpix S6 cameras using the Nikon Wireless Camera Setup Utility v2.1 to connect wirelessly to Windows Vista (32-bit version) systems.

This firmware update is NOT necessary in the following situations:
You are using a Macintosh computer equipped with a PowerPC processor.
You are using Windows XP.
You will not use the wireless connection feature.
